Home Movies
VCR's have not been sold for the last decade. If your home movies are still on VHS it might be time to transfer them to other media. We have a transfer station in the lab, consisting of a stereo VHS player, and a DVD recorder. Simply put a blank DVD in the recorder and let it format. Check the settings on the DVD recorder to make sure it is set for SP (Standard Play) or better, the DVD channel is set to LINE IN 1.
Insert the VHS tape, press play on the VCR and press REC (Record) on the DVD player. When you recording is over press REC STOP and finalize the disk.
Once you have the DVD, you can easily duplicate the DVD. You can also edit the video, putting in titles and text and add still photos.
