Connection 2.4 GHz Internet of Things (IoT) Devices
Because your Blue Stream Plume uses one SSID for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, some IoT devices struggle to connect during setup. Plume provides an IoT Onboarding Mode to solve this.
Start the Plume App on your phone or tablet.

Go to the Network page
Select Devices,
Find your mobile device that is running the Plume App
It should have a purple asterisk (*) or Plume logo next to it.
Tap on the device with the asterisk

Scroll down to and tap Iot onboarding mode.
Tap Enable 2.4 GHz.
Your phone will temporarily disconnect and reconnect specifically to the 2.4 GHz band for 60 minutes.

Your phone will temporarily disconnect and reconnect specifically to the 2.4 GHz band for 60 minutes.
Set Up Your Device: While your phone is on 2.4 GHz, open the manufacturer's app for your IoT device and complete its setup.
Finish: Once connected, you can manually disable the mode in the Plume app or let it expire after an hour to return your phone to the 5 GHz band.
