Guest Network

A guest network is a secondary, isolated Wi-Fi network created by a router that allows visitors to access the internet while preventing them from accessing your private devices (printers, computers, NAS) or sensitive network data. It enhances home security by keeping untrusted devices separate from your primary network infrastructure, mitigating the risk of malware or unauthorized access. Unlike traditional routers, Plume typically uses a single Wi-Fi name (SSID) for all frequencies and manages access through unique passwords rather than separate networks.
